If the author had delved into a deeper explanation for this route — for example, more about Grace’s Christian upbringing or why exactly she believes so steadfastly in the Dedpain God — I would have been more okay with this, but her thoughts seemed to be placed at random moments and my assumption when reading it was that the author was trying to persuade readers that the Christian way was the right way.

I bref feel my own heart racing when she met Talbot, befriended him and then subsequently went on raids with him, learning how to handle evil on her own terms. Katie Summers, the new character whom I feel so honored is named after me just might feed upon these insecurities and may or may not shake things up just a bit between Daniel and Grace.

Daniel and Grace’s realtionship was made of the suck this go round. He stops believing in her possible abbilities to control the inner wolf. Is Graces love for Daniel strong enough to overcome the inner wolf or will she fall as all Urbats have fallen before her.

I missed the strong, smart, confident Grace from the Dark Divine hopefully she will come back. Jude calls Grace to warn her and then a series of strange activities starts and then Daniel start ignoring Grace and Grace meat another guy and then Caleb ,Daniel’s father comes back and the story takes a real turn.

Grace Divine made the ultimate sacrifice to cure Daniel Kalbi. We keep things hidden from each other to protect one another and fear that the other person won’t understand or except something. My other biggest issue with this book was more irksome than really unpleasent, but I really feel like it needs to be addressed.

It started off a bit slow for me and at times I felt some scenes were forced, but overall it was xespain fun read. And once I did that, I remembered why I had loved the first book so much.

I felt like murdering Grace when reading this book. This made a lot of the book a slow go for me, because there wasn’t a lot of suspense to keep me turning pages. The characters, plot, predictability, pacing and setting were just all wrong. The Dark Divine is Bree’s debut novel. But that is to be expected from a second book – otherwise it would be a pretty sucky trilogy!

And the is torn apart because of the wolf inside her. I was glad for one that she wanted to be strong, that she can prove that she didn’t need Daniel.

A lot more happened in this book but not enough for me to rate it any higher than a three stars. Desperate to find Jude, Grace befriends Talbot, a newcomer to town.
