Obviously a papertowel is a lot more difficult to cut than a piece of paper and I find it a lot more difficult than shaving armhair as well.
Being able to sharpen things is a skill I have attempted to develop of and on, mostly off, since I was a boy–to no avail.

Yes some of the information is basic, but sometimes people don’t even know the basics. Fact is, that my edges have been better than ever and I get there much, much faster with the Carter technique huranitch with anything I had tried before. Christian rated it it was ok Sep 29, raazor What a bad day at work The people that like to pull say pushing the blade will degrade the edge, especially in the final steps because you push the well formed edge right into a hard obstacle the abrasive particles that are sticking out of the surface and the swarf that the blade is plowing into.

I also think that at least Spyderco knives have sufficient relief, even though I razog it a try and increased the relief on my Pacific. Not the stiff kind but the one that is kind of quilted? Thanks for telling us about the problem. I would recommend it. I probably read it a year ago.
