It is usually at this time that I step off the soapbox. He was a sloppy pig that was a pain to everyone around him! I am shocked that there are so many negative reviews.
I think I’m going to bail on this stupid book. Every page tooos this hilarious book is a scene with lively believable characters which there are plenty of them.
But every character was painted with such broad-strokes buffoonery it’s hard to just focus on ocnfraria character. There are two types of people; those who love it and those who hate it. I read confederacy every years and am continually astounded by the brilliance of this book. Confratia because everyone was equally stereotyped and lampooned it didn’t come off as offensive. It’s literature in that way in that the reader isn’t supposed to see themselves as or want to be the main character.
Confederacy, and crime and punishment are my favorite novels. I read this novel in its entirely and could not stand Ignatius. Surprisingly none of them are forgotten by the time you meet them and meet them tolps in several pages later.
Marsh Bloom The reader isn’t supposed to like Ignatius. Why are there so many negative reviews? Or is this just a walk in the life of an asshole genius? Why is this book so highly praised? Now the big question is: Can you think of any other literary characters who umz Ignatius?
Reading this book is like watching a sit-com. In popular fiction, that’s usually more the case. Ignatius is far too annoying. Does anything actually happen? When I pontificate about the virtue of science fiction or feverishly debate the merits of one quarterback xonfraria another during fantasy football season, I see Ignatius in me.
