I have been searching for a thread to answer a few questions I have on the XL. The XL discrart the only true fairway driver I keep in my bag. The XL is better for finishing with a little fade.

In the Northeast where trees rule the fairways, the XL is king because it is an accurate, straight flying, controllable driver. I like throwing it though, I haven’t had a chance to play around with it too much though. I use mine on tight fairways.

I think it was best in the old elite pro plastic, good grip with tons of glide, but it is a nice fairway driver in newer plastics as well. He accidentally flipped it into a roller. What do you want to see next from Discraft.
The XL is one of the farthest flying discs I’ve ever thrown and it holds an almost perfect line on big throws. Plus they are good for rolling.
